Back to School Bootcamp

The Rural Tutor is excited to again offer a Back to School - Bootcamp.  

The Back to School - Bootcamp is designed to prepare your child to succeed right from the first day of Term 1.  

The Back to School - Bootcamp involves 2 hour small group sessions which run for four consecutive days.

Topics covered:

• Reading Comprehension Strategies

• Writing

• Grammar

• Numeracy - whole number

School Readiness Holiday Program

Help your child thrive right from the first day of  school!

Monday - Thursday 10 - 11am (4 x 1 hour sessions)

Topics covered:

• phonological awareness

• letter formation

• comprehension

• alphabet focus

• class routines

Scholarship Exam Workshop

Most independent and selective state schools offer scholarships to students who perform well in the ACER Scholarship exam.  

However, for many students this may be the first time that they have been exposed to a formal examination, which can be quite daunting.  

The Rural Tutor has designed a Scholarship Exam Preparation Workshop to help your child feel more confident and prepared for this exam.  

Students will:

 ✅ Undertake a practice exam under exam conditions

 ✅ Review the exam immediately, with full answers and explanations worked through for comprehension, grammar and mathematics.

 ✅  Receive individualised feedback on the writing component of exam.

Time: 9:00 - 12:00pm

Cost of Scholarship Exam Workshop only $180 per student
