Christine Patison
Christine has over 30 years of experiene in education as a classroom teacher, principal and Instructional Leader in literacy and numeracy. She has also worked on State and National literacy and numeracy education platforms, analysing data and planning for student, cohort and whole school improvement.
Over the years, her success in improving the literacy and numeracy outcomes of students has been recognised. She has been the recipient of a prestigious Director General's Award and Department of Education regional awards.
Christine enjoys teaching both literacy and numeracy but is a writing enthusiast and particularly enjoys teaching the skills of writing to young people.
'Through writing, students learn to think critically, creatively, to connect, problem solve and communicate effectively, all while having a great time creating and exploring texts'.
